Surfers and scuba divers know putting on a wetsuit can be torture – when you try to put it on you just get tangled up in it halfway through. You struggle, you break into a sweat and in the end, you’re helplessly trapped in your own wetsuit, an insect caught in a neoprene spider’s web. It’s even worse with a wet wetsuit and sometimes you’d just rather freeze than be on the losing end of a battle with the thing.

Well, help has arrived! The following video is a cool tip I learned years ago and I’ve used it ever since - putting on a wetsuit with a plastic bag. Crazy you say? Maybe, but it works! So, rather than describing it, I thought I’d do a short video which is my post for the week! I've posted it on Traveleidoscope's Facebook page, so click here to see it! Make sure to Like and Share it! I think the video is hilarious and so did my hubby who filmed it and still managed to keep the camera (mostly) steady while laughing! Enjoy! P.S. Notice my head is mostly out of the video. That’s deliberate. I’m quite camera shy…

According to Alltounian, link his time on set with McQueen led to a lasting friendship. And once back link home in the States, he was a guest at the McQueen family home. Alltounian wore the watch for a time link before realizing that what he had was special and would be better protected in a safety deposit box. That's where it sat for many years, and that explains the squeaky clean case and overall wonderfully preserved condition of this incredibly important watch.

I later learn that this type of Japanese wall clock often link appears on the walls of homes. My wife, who grew up in Kyoto, remembers that her grandparents' house had one, almost certainly a Seikosha. link In a country where one company, Seiko, has traditionally been so horologically dominant, this seems link about right.

About

Welcome to Travleidoscope! Hey, what’s with the name?  Traveleidoscope is a combination of the words travel and kaleidoscope.  While a kaleidoscope creates colorful patterns, it doesn’t ever seem to produce the same pattern twice.  And so, I want my love of travel and outdoorsy activities to be sort of like a kaleidoscope - never really getting the same experience twice!  I’ll share what I’ve learned in my adventures through 60 countries and territories (including the bumps and bruises of it all!).   Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by and here’s to always having a bon voyage!
