St. Patrick’s Day is upon us! Most of us will probably raise a glass or two, but it doesn’t have to be beer! Here are five drinks to try for St. Patty’s Day, from the traditional to the not-so-traditional! Sláinte!
Traditional
1. Guiness
Of course we have to mention this! But, you could also try...
2. Half and Half
Half Guiness, Half Harps
Green
I'm definitely trying this delicious sounding cocktail I found on MixThatDrink!
2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce Midori
1/2 ounce Domaine De Canton Ginger Liqueur (but you can make your own! Here's a ginger liqueur recipe I found)
1/2 ounce lemon juice
Dash of Angostura bitters
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice. Pour in all the ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass, and garnish with a lemon twist.
Low Calorie
4. Mojito
If you’re looking to count calories on St. Patrick’s Day, this 90 calorie Mojito recipe from Shape will help you do it in a healthier way.
In the bottom of a Collins or mixing glass, muddle 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 teaspoon water, herbs (1 pinch fresh ginger, peeled and grated, 3 medium basil leaves, 3 mint leaves) and juice of half a lime. Pour in 1 oz. of white rum (or vodka, if you prefer) and stir. Top with crushed ice and club soda. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Whiskey based
5. The Dubliner
Here’s a whiskey shot called The Dubliner! This tasty recipe was on Delishably!
½ oz Jameson Irish Whisky
½ oz Irish Mist - a whiskey liqueur produced in Dublin
So, Sláinte and enjoy St. Patrick’s Day responsibly!

Prior to that, the original basic designs had also been seen in 2011, but link in a slightly smaller link case, at 35.8mm. The three new models have cases up-sized from link the original 1960 watches as well, at 38mm x 10.9mm, and they also have display backs.
The dial of the PAM 1523 is a study in link clarity and elegance, featuring a striking white link background with Arabic numerals and markers. The blued seconds hand adds a subtle pop of color, creating a visually appealing contrast against the link crisp white dial. The simplicity and legibility of the dial are hallmarks of Panerai's design philosophy, which emphasizes practicality and style.
If you look closely around the edge of the dial, you'll see that yes, the watch has a helium escape value (as advertised in bold letters) and you might sneak a peak link at it in a photo further down, but frankly, I was so overwhelmed by the link wildness of this watch that I barely paid it any attention. There's also a new compression ring made link of blue ceramic, which works with the HEV and ensures water-tightness to those insane depths listed on the dial.
