Don’t feel bad, I never heard of it either, but I’m glad I know about it now. Delicious food, good music, cool shopping, all in one place!
Why is it called Yellow Green Farmers Market?
The Yellow Green website explains that yellow represents the sun, and green represents the earth
Where is it?
It’s about 15 minutes southwest of the Fort Lauderdale International Airport, in Hollywood, Florida.
Parking
We walked from a friend’s house, but there is paid parking. It’s $15. Yikes! I’m glad we walked! If you want to rideshare it over, there’s a designated rideshare pickup/dropoff location. Check out the map for parking and rideshare info.
Hours
It’s open Thursday, Friday and Monday from 9am-5pm; Saturday, Sunday, Monday from 10am-630pm.

What did we do?
You can basically find anything there – plants, clothes, spices, jewelry, have a bite to eat, listen to bands. It’s all there. It’s more than a farmers market. It’s a destination.
We basically ate and shopped our way through the market and listened to the band at one of the covered pavilions. We bought some alfajores, which I love, but my friend had never tried. She’s sold on them now. We stopped for lunch and a beer at one of her favorite places in the market, Maris Kitchen, where we had giant bruschetta. Delicious! Then we did some shopping and my friend bought a beautiful dress.
I am not gonna lie – it was brutally hot the day we visited, but it was the summer in Florida, so I’m not sure why I was surprised. If you go, wear comfy shoes and bring your appetite!
