I’m back with the final installment of “A Long Weekend in Burgundy France”. Here’s what we did and where we ate on Day 3 and Day 4!

With Halloween around the corner, many of us will be overindulging in all sorts of goodies.  If you're looking to burn off some of those extra calories, here are five fun races for Halloween to help you do that in a ghoulish way!

Last week, I wrote about where we went in Burgundy. This week – it’s all about the “what we did and where we ate”! So, let’s get into it, shall we?

Ever dream of heading to one of the great wine regions of France?  I have.  Even though I was lucky enough to live in France, I never quite made it to the Burgundy region… until now! Read all about my long weekend in spectacular Burgundy!

Recently, a New York Times article pondered the end of Governors Island.  Why?  Well, there's all sorts of development going on.  It started with festivals and concerts, then glamping, and then the announcement of an Italian day spa.  Understandably, everyone has a...

Wow! There was a lot of travel-related news that happened in September, so I’ve put together a recap of some of the month’s top stories!

A lot of people ask me, "do you BYO (Bring Your Own) sports equipment on trips?" After many trips, I’ve developed a completely unscientific, totally anecdotal, four-part “test” to figure out when to BYO or not!

That catchy nickname – Renaissance City - is one of several nicknames for Providence, along with the Creative Capital, the Beehive of Industry, “Prov” and PVD (the IATA airport code)! No matter what you call it, Providence is a really great place to visit!  We visited...

About

Welcome to Travleidoscope! Hey, what’s with the name?  Traveleidoscope is a combination of the words travel and kaleidoscope.  While a kaleidoscope creates colorful patterns, it doesn’t ever seem to produce the same pattern twice.  And so, I want my love of travel and outdoorsy activities to be sort of like a kaleidoscope - never really getting the same experience twice!  I’ll share what I’ve learned in my adventures through 60 countries and territories (including the bumps and bruises of it all!).   Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by and here’s to always having a bon voyage!
